I think the main problem when buying a used car is naivety and trustfulness. If you’re that kind of person, it’s easy to get tricked by a seller asking for favors, changing ownership after the deal, not checking documents carefully, just taking their word for it, etc. All of that only hurts you. I’d still recommend being persistent, checking the car through services like FAXVIN, and in person with a mechanic, to make sure it’s really a good car.
